API Reference

Introduction

The Map Configuration Service is used to configure ressources that define how your maps will display and behave.

More specifically, this API allows you to manage data sources, layers, styles and projects inside your organization. It's also used to manage permissions that are applied on these resources.

Here are some examples of tasks that can be done using the Map Configuration Service:

  • Create a data source for an uploaded file
  • Create a data source for an existing WMS service
  • Create a project
  • Create a layer in the project
  • Define the style of a layer
  • Define the tooltip contents for a layer

For more information about the configuration of data sources, projects and layers, see the JMap Cloud Portal user guide.
